SPECIALIZED WELDING

In these two industrial fields, TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding is the most frequently requested when working on stainless steel pipes for the construction of systems and machines. TIG welding therefore requires a mix of skills ranging from general technical aspects to specific ones, designed to satisfy the hygiene requirements necessary for the treatment of food products or healthcare applications.

Going into detail, the TIG welding process is generated in an argon atmosphere. Thanks to the protection of this inert gas, the electric arc melts the edges of the elements to join (with or without filler material) continuously.

In this way, the joints are more efficient than those obtained with high frequency.

The welding course for the medical and food sector has the objective of transferring these practical and theoretical skills to students.

PREREQUISITES OF COURSE

The student must have proven experience in welding on the TIG process.
